We at Wetlands International South Asia condole the sudden demise of our beloved colleague Satish Kumar. Satish was a Technical Officer with us, and was on sabbatical to finish his doctoral thesis at Indraprastha University.
Our family has lost an incredible personality, whose ‘can-do’ attitude and infectious smile brought cheer to all. Satish’s connect with communities and social issues was deep and heartfelt. His passion for wetlands was unmatched, and so was willingness to work on newer landscapes, surmounting his physical challenges. Alas, the Corona pandemic got better of him.
We stand by Satish’s family and friends at this moment of grief and pray that Almighty takes him in her folds.
