Annual Board Meeting
The 18th Annual General Body Meeting of Wetlands International South Asia was held on September 19, 2025, at the conference hall of the NSIC Business Park in New Delhi, bringing together members to review the past year’s activities, achievements, and future objectives.
The work done by the organisation on six priority themes, namely strengthening integrated wetlands management, rejuvenating wetlands for water security, wetlands as NbS for disaster risk reduction, nurturing wetlands livelihoods, conserving wetlands biodiversity, and safeguarding wetland carbon, was presented. The members appreciated the input of the teams and recommended a stronger focus on conservation of small wetlands, floodplain wetlands, coastal ecosystems and climate change. The Annual Report and Audited financial statements were considered and approved.
