Dr Pradeep Vashisht is a Technical Officer at Wetlands International South Asia
Pradeep is a glacial-hydrologist and has proficiently worked on integrated research at high altitudes, for adaptation of local communities and analysing the impacts of climate change on water resources in Himalayas. He obtained his doctoral degree in ‘Glacial Hydrological Systems’ from TERI School of Advanced Studies, New Delhi. He has 7 years of experience in various hydro-meteorological research in glacierized watersheds and vulnerability assessment of water resources using hydrological modelling in the Indian Himalayan Region.
His avocation includes open-air sports and traveling. He has accomplished expeditions and treks across the Indian Himalayas.
