Harsh specializes in the hydrological facet of wetlands and water management. He has nearly five years of experience in wetland hydrology, high-altitude systems, surface water modeling and groundwater modeling. He has carried out several hydrological studies across various landscapes in India and Bangladesh and was also a part of the Indo-German Riverbank Filtration (RBF) projects with the National Institute of Hydrology, Roorkee. He led the development of the water security plan for Veduria Union of Bhola Island in Bangladesh and has been an integral part of developing guidance documents for IWRM and wetland management plans for various sites across India.
Harsh holds a gold medal in M Tech – Water Science and Governance from TERI School of Advanced Studies, New Delhi. His hobbies include outdoor sports, photography and traveling. He has also executed several expeditions and treks in the Western Himalayan landscape.
