Bhuyashee Rajkumari is a Programme Associate (Integrated Management of Wetland Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services) at Wetlands International South Asia.
Bhuyashee possesses a postgraduate degree in M.Sc. Water Science and Governance from the TERI School of Advanced Studies in addition to her B.A. (Hons.) in Geography from the University of Delhi. She previously worked on an action-based research project as a Research Fellow with Chintan (Environmental Research and Action Group) to determine whether women waste collectors using Material Recovery Facilities, including dry waste collection centres, can combat poverty while reducing plastic litter. Additionally, she worked as an intern at the Centre for Social Research, where she conducted study on how women manage their households’ water needs even in a dry region like Rajasthan.
She enjoys going on long drives and hiking with her friends during her holidays.
