Apoorva is a researcher in the field of environmental management and has worked on wetlands, climate change, and wildlife ecology. She has more than two years of experience in wetlands monitoring, climate change vulnerability assessment, and wildlife conservation. She has worked in different landscapes, from Trans-Himalaya to Himalaya to Peninsular India. She has a master’s degree in Environment Management from Forest Research Institute, Dehradun. She has previously worked with Greenpeace India, G. B. Pant NIHE and Wildlife Institute of India. Her contribution to the organization is dealing with wetlands
management and monitoring biodiversity.
She is a keen nature enthusiast and her interest are birding, trekking, wildlife photography,
and sports.
