A team from Wetlands International South Asia (Arghya Chakrabarty, Technical Officer – Biodiversity and Dhruv Verma, Technical Officer) met Keoladeo National Park officials to discuss and finalise the Montruex Record update for Ramsar Convention.

During the trip, they discussed the avifaunal and faunal census of the last five years, the volume of water storage in the wetland and invasion status of Prosopis juliflora, and how it is being managed. They also sighted significant avifauna during the field trip.
