Wetlands International South Asia is a non-government organisation dedicated to the conservation and sustainable management of wetlands in South Asia region. Our vision is a world where wetlands are treasured and nurtured for their beauty, the life they support and the resources they provide.
Wetlands International South Asia is dedicated to maintaining, restoring and managing wetlands in an integrated manner – for their biodiversity as well contribution to societal well-being. We provide technical support and advise national governments, wetland authorities, non-government organisations, and the private sector on science, policy and practice issues related to conservation and sustainable management of wetlands.
We are registered as a non-government organisation in India under the Societies Registration Act and steered by a General Body comprising eminent conservation planners and wetland experts.
