Her summer internship work, titled ‘Judiciary and Wetlands: An Analysis of Recent Indian Supreme Court Judgments’, focused on reviewing recent judgments of the Supreme Court to identify the arguments made in favour of and against wetland conservation to safeguard wetlands by utilising appropriate legal counsel. Her thesis project, titled ‘Integrated Wetlands Management: An Evaluation of Planning Processes’, assessed the comprehensiveness of Integrated Management Plans to support the management planning at Ramsar Sites. The work helped identify gaps and areas of consideration for improving the effectiveness of the Integrated Management Plans.
With a keen eye for biodiversity, Aditi is poised to contribute meaningfully to the field, advocating for policies safeguarding wetland and their unique biodiversity. She is keen to work at the interface of science and policy.
Aditi is a nature lover and enjoys listening to music in her free time.
